The mission of the joint Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Program at NewYork-Presbyterian /Weill Cornell Medical Center and the Columbia University Medical Center is to provide the framework, resources and academic environment necessary in order to establish a foundation of basic science and clinical knowledge. This helps support successful research in Gynecologic Oncology. Our three-year program is certified by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
New York-Presbyterian serves as the base for Columbia University and Weill Cornell Medical Centers, and our Gynecologic Oncology fellowship represents a joint program between these two teaching hospitals. Our three-year program consists of fellows doing one year of research at one of the campuses, and two years of clinical experience, with one year at each campus. Clinical years include rotating at WCM (6 months), then Columbia (1 year) ending back at WCM (6 months) campus. Research opportunities include basic science, translational, population-based clinical research and health equity research. The combined program of the two academic medical centers and the shared determination to pioneer innovative new treatment modalities sets a new standard of excellence in healthcare.
Application Procedure:
